it has been more than a year.
but up until this point in my life, i still feel overwhelmed when i think about the fact that i was actually able to set foot in this unbelievably beautiful city.
God does surprise you in many ways you can’t imagine.
we came in halfway through our Cosmos tour. i always had this preconceived notion that Venice is just an ordinary city down the road that just happens to have a lot of canals…and bridges…and those nifty little boats you see in pictures called gondolas.
i’ve never been so wrong in my entire life.
Venice is one of the cities in northeastern Italy. Among the sestieris, we were able to visit the popular San Marco. i probably sighed a hundred times; too bad my pictures don’t (and will never do, no matter how i abuse them with Picasa) give justice to the extraordinarily lavish city i can’t afford to die without ever going back to.
Tornero, Venezia.
